Wendell Waves Swim Team membership is open to paid Wendell Swim Club shareholders.  If you would like to join the team and you are not a swim club member please refer to the Membership Page  for more information.

Practice Schedule - sample schedule

Attendance at practice is essential for all swimmers.  It is at practice where swimmers receive the instruction necessary to become proficient and strong swimmers.  Our younger swimmers are especially inspired when the older swimmers model good sportsmanship and leadership during practice.
First practice - May 18th
​* this will be a "dry" practice wear your running shoes

Volunteers & Junior Coaches
Parents please remember to volunteer. There are many volunteer opportunities during the season.  By being a volunteer, you show support for our team and also have fun. 

​Each family is required to work a minimum of three meets.  The meet is run TOTALLY BY VOLUNTEERS!  If we don’t have volunteers, then we don’t have a meet!
If you would like to be a Wendell Waves Junior Coach, here are the job requirements:
  1. You must be a member of the Wendell Waves Swim Team.
  2. You must be 12 years old at the time of your application.
  3. Schedules will be adjusted to meet individual needs, however, you are expected to be at all practices assigned to you.
  4. Maintain a positive and encouraging attitude at all times.
A Junior Coaches meeting  will be held at 6:45 PM after the first practice.
